We already have an ERP – do we have to replace it?
Not always. In some cases we layer Odoo over existing finance systems to handle manufacturing, inventory and operations. In others, it’s cleaner to move core production and stock into Odoo and keep the old ERP as a pure accounting engine during transition.
Can Odoo handle complex, multi-level BOMs?
Yes. Odoo’s Manufacturing app is built for multi-level BOMs, co-products and by-products. The work is in designing the BOM structure, routings and data governance so changes are controlled and cost impacts are visible.
How do you deal with shop-floor adoption?
We design flows around how operators actually work: minimal clicks, clear statuses, barcode scanning and screens that highlight just what’s needed for that station. Pilots with real operators are a core part of every manufacturing project.
What about traceability and compliance?
We configure Odoo to track lots/serials end-to-end, capture quality data at key steps and provide rapid recall capability. For regulated industries, we can also support audit trails, approvals and documented procedures around engineering changes and non-conformances.
